Local 8 was saddened by the passing of Craig Bellerose of St. Albert, a 17 year member of the Local. His family will be hosting a Celebration of Life on Saturday, July 19, 2025 from 2 - 5 PM at LB's Pub, 23 Akins Drive, St. Albert T8N 38E We'd like to extend condolences to all Craig's family and friends. |

 Local 8 Training Dept. was very pleased to attend the graduation ceremonies of our first two TEPF classes (February to May). This program was a great success and we hope to see it grow. We'll be hosting a compressed class in July with another 10 students along with two Heavy Metal Summer Experience sessions in August (read below for details) You can view more photos HERE |

For members interested in signing up to the Rapid Site Access Program (RSAP), the forms and information about the program can be found on the Construction Labour Relations Alberta website - https://clra.org/initiatives/rsap/ When you reach the page, click on forms at the bottom, then RSAP member application. Follow the instructions on completing the form and return it to Homewood. They will then contact you to complete the process. |
